Lektr provides a powerful spaced-repetition flashcard system to help you actively memorize your highlights.

Decks

Decks are collections of flashcards. You can organize your learning by creating specific decks (e.g., "History", "Coding", "Philosophy").

Managing Decks

• Create: Click "New Deck" on the Decks page.
• Edit/Delete: Use the menu on any deck card.
• Study: Click any deck to begin a study session.

Creating Flashcards

You can turn any highlight into a flashcard directly from the book view:

1. Click the Flash/Lightning icon on any highlight card.
2. Select a target Deck.
3. Choose a Card Type:
   • Basic: Front (Question) / Back (Answer). The highlight content is automatically copied to the Back.
   • Cloze: "Fill in the blank". Select text and use the [...] button to create a hidden section.

Study Sessions

When you review a deck, Lektr uses the FSRS Algorithm to schedule cards.

Controls

• Space: Flip card / Show Answer
• 1 (Again): Reset progress (Forgot)
• 2 (Hard): Recall was difficult
• 3 (Good): Correct response
• 4 (Easy): Instant recall

Keyboard Shortcuts

• Space: Flip
• 1, 2, 3, 4: Rate card
